Position Summary
The Quality Support Technician plays a key role in delivering high-performance cooling technology that powers the world's most advanced data centers and AI systems. In this role, you will be the quality champion on the production floor — helping ensure every component, subassembly, and finished product meets the highest standards for safety, reliability, and ISO 9001 : 2015 compliance.
You'll get hands-on experience with new designs straight from Engineering / R&D, supporting first article inspections, problem-solving real issues as they happen, and helping us scale builds from prototype to full production. You'll lead root cause investigations, drive corrective actions, maintain key quality documents, and support internal audits that keep our systems performing at the highest level.

Core Responsibilities by Competency Area
Current-State Responsibilities
- Serve as the SME for inspection methods, metrology, calibration, and test systems
- Lead full CAPA lifecycle — detection → investigation → root cause → corrective action → verification
- Lead internal audits and support regulatory / customer audit readiness
- Ensure accurate documentation and traceability within the QMS
Near-Term Expectations
Develop and monitor quality metrics and dashboards; communicate trends and risksCreate, approve, and maintain SOPs, control plans, inspection criteria, and checklistsPartner with Engineering / R&D for NPI — first article inspections, validation, and manufacturability improvementsForward-Looking Capabilities
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and increase throughputDrive quality readiness activities for higher-volume production and line startupProvide technical guidance on process capability (Cp / Cpk), reliability data, and design feedbackStartup / Ramp-Up Agility
Influence standardization and scalability in evolving environmentsPromote a culture of proactive quality including layered process audits (LPAs)Support troubleshooting during engineering builds and design iterationsLeadership & Mentorship
Train and mentor cross-functional operatorsProvide credible quality leadership during issue resolution on the floorKey Duties
Lead root cause analysis using 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree, or similarMaintain nonconformance records, defect containment, and verification of effectivenessConduct complex dimensional analysis, fit checks, and high-risk product testingValidate accuracy of measurement instruments and maintain calibration standardsContribute to PFMEA and risk control improvementsReinforce safety, housekeeping, and compliance within all activitiesRequired Skills & Experience
4–6+ years' experience in manufacturing quality roles (electronics or electro-mechanical preferred)Advanced use of precision measurement and product testing equipmentProven experience driving CAPA and systemic quality improvementsISO 9001 : 2015 knowledge required; Internal Auditor training or ASQ certification preferredStrong communication skills — ability to influence without authoritySolid understanding of technical drawings, BoM, and specificationsQuality data analysis and reportingEducation
High school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or Technical field preferredWillingness to obtain ASQ and / or Internal Auditor certification (if not already earned)Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequent time on production / testing floor near moving equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver in equipment-dense areasStanding, walking, reaching, bending for extended periodsOther Important Information
