We are seeking a motivated, hard-working, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Plumber.
This role is a vital step toward becoming a licensed Plumber, offering hands-on training, mentorship, and classroom education (as required by local regulations).
The Apprentice will assist licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems while learning the trade's fundamentals, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities Assist Licensed Plumbers :
- Work directly under the supervision of a licensed plumber on service calls, new installations, and system repairs.
Preparation and Cleanup :
Prepare job sites by gathering tools, equipment, and materials.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including loading and unloading materials from the work vehicle.Basic Tasks :
Perform basic plumbing tasks as directed, such as cutting and threading pipe, digging trenches, fetching parts, and carrying / holding materials.Tool Maintenance :
Learn to properly use, clean, and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.Safety Compliance :
Adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures at all times.Learning and Development :
Actively participate in all required on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship classes.Ask questions, take notes, and demonstrate a commitment to learning the plumbing trade.Customer Service :
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and customers.Qualifications & Requirements Required Education :
High school diploma or GED equivalent, must have apprentice license Physical Ability : Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in confined spaces or various weather conditions.Reliability :
Punctual, reliable, and possesses a strong work ethic.Transportation :
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site / office.Attitude :
