Job description

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance contributes to Cardinal Health by developing and implementing quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure that products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. This job family provides oversight of production / manufacturing activities, training to operational and quality control personnel, and educates business leaders on Quality policies and procedures to ensure that all products and services are properly reviewed for quality and documented.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional team to address issues as appropriate.
  • Lead a group of QA focused on quality control / quality assurance activities such as release of products.
  • Lead and / or support quality improvement initiatives, including CAPAs and projects to support Operational Excellence.
  • May lead investigation on customer complaints.

Qualifications :

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff.
  • Administers and exercises policies and procedures.
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines.
  • Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers.
  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels.
  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution.
  • Anticipated salary range : $79,700 - $113,800.
