Position Summary
The Maintenance & Equipment Supervisor is responsible for handling and overseeing the maintenance, repair, and reliability of all manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This is a hands-on role! The Supervisor will be troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and handling preventative maintenace requests with Senior Technician and Technicians. This role ensures production uptime, directs the maintenance team, and leads continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and schedule maintenance technicians, assigning daily work orders and long-term projects.
Responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment, tools, and facility systems.
Partner with production supervisors and engineering to address equipment issues quickly.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Implement reliability-centered maintenance practices and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
