Quality Management Director
Wage Range : $98,300 - $157,227 per year
Job Summary : Works in partnership with service line and departmental leadership to analyze and report performance improvement and patient safety information. Facilitates the performance improvement work associated with public reporting, internal reporting, and other improvement priorities. Plans and carries out complex cross functional projects using advanced Process Improvement skills and methods. Works closely with committees and teams as a Process Improvement expert. Responsible for managerial duties in the Quality department.
Primary Duties :
- Responsible for the daily management and oversight of Quality Management staff.
- Produces various quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for communication and presentation to service line and departmental leaders and related committees / departments.
- Provides data analysis and presentations of reports to departmental leaders, key individuals, and committees. Offers guidance on opportunities for improvement.
- Serves as a Process Improvement (PI) consultant to departments and leadership.
- Participates in decision-making regarding appropriateness of performance improvement methods, implications of data (including trends, variation, and "best practice"), compliance with regulatory standards, and need for changes in process or practice.
- Consults and coordinates the implementation of quality, regulatory, and safety action plans with leaders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required for the position :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other health related field5 years of experience in a similar leadership position in a hospital or related health care setting3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in healthcareAbility to use qualitative and quantitative dataDesired for the position :
