Requirements / Qualifications
- A. Possession of a (BA / BS or MA / MS) in Child Development / Early Childhood Education or a related field, inclusive of 24 ECE units;
- B. Possession of a California clear multiple subject teaching credential;
- C. Possession of a California child development teaching permit;
- D. Possession of a certificate of eligibility for the administrative services credential preferred;
- E. Three or more years of successful early childhood education experience;
F. Successful coaching and leadership experience in early childhood; and
G. Possess and Maintain a 16-hour certification including 8- hour of Pediatric First Aid &
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), as well as 8 hours Preventive Health & Safety Course which
includes the new mandated nutrition component.
