Position Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, the Quality Manager is a key leadership role that will administer and maintain a quality system which adheres to AS9100D, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role will oversee all quality assurance and control functions of the business to ensure our products meet the highest safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100D and industry standards.
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products.
- Manage internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
- Establish and monitor key quality metrics, driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain documentation of quality procedures, processes, and compliance records.
- Ability to multitask and shift gears in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace, defense, or safety equipment.Strong knowledge of AS9100D and Quality Management Systems.Experience leading audits and managing customer quality requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.What We Offer
