SOC 2 Compliance Contractor Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a SOC 2 Compliance Contractor to support its information-security and audit readiness efforts. This role will help drive SOC 2 Type II compliance, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure policies, controls, and evidence are audit-ready.

Responsibilities

Document, assess, and enhance SOC 2 Type II control processes and evidence

Coordinate control testing, risk assessments, and remediation activities

Partner with IT, compliance, and external auditors to close control gaps

Strengthen governance, logging, and monitoring processes

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of SOC 2 frameworks and control testing practices

Familiar with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and core security controls

Skilled in audit documentation, risk assessment, and process improvement

Excellent communication and organization skills

Background in financial or regulated environments preferred
