A company is looking for an Acquisition Services Buyer to perform purchase administration functions for a government contractor in a remote contract role.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with internal customers to generate specifications and statements of work
Negotiate and administer fixed price commercial item / service purchases
Perform post contract administration duties and resolve issues related to supplier performance
Required Qualifications
Relevant bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of experience, or a relevant master's degree
Demonstrated Purchase Order / contract administration experience
General knowledge of laws, regulations, and principles related to procurements
Ability to develop strategies to deal with project and program contractual issues
Experience with procurement for state, local, or federal government organizations preferred
