We encourage personal growth and offer career advancement to individuals who demonstrate initiative.Position Summary : The primary responsibility of this position is the bending, cutting, fabricating, and folding of sheet metal to create components used to assemble the finished product.

Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the production area.Principal Duties and Responsibilities : Safe operation of press brake / bi-directional folding machine and various other tools used to complete project.

Create quality and accurate cuts / bends / folds according to blueprints. Inspect work for accuracy. Follow and enforce all CDI safety rules and regulations.

Ensure equipment is properly set-up & used in a safe manner & that all safety devices are in use.Operate forklift, if required and certified.

Performs inspections on product before, during, and after the build following CDI's standards.Monitor functionality of equipment and tools and request maintenance when required.

Perform basic and preventative maintenance and repair as required.Effectively communicate with supervisors & other production staff to coordinate work schedules.

Other duties as assigned.Compensation : $18.50 - $22.00 an hour (D.O.E.) with performance increases every 6 months! Minimum 1-year experience of press brake or bi-directional folder experience.Excellent knowledge of fabrication machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task.Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools.

Read and understand work orders and job schedules.Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language.

Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift.Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently & lift 70 pounds occasionally.
