Location : On-site in Sterling, VA and / or Washington, DC

A leading electrical contractor operating at the forefront of the mission-critical and commercial construction industries is seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to lead onsite operations for high-impact data center builds in the DMV area. This is a pivotal role within a high-growth organization focused on innovation, safety, and delivering excellence in complex power distribution systems. The Superintendent will serve as the boots-on-the-ground leadership presence, managing teams and trade partners to drive quality and timely results on technically sophisticated projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct daily field operations, overseeing skilled electrical crews across various project phases.
• Coordinate material deliveries, task scheduling, and subcontractor activity to ensure timelines and productivity goals are met.
• Enforce compliance with NEC and all relevant safety regulations and site protocols.
• Conduct quality checks, site walks, and electrical inspections to maintain installation standards and identify any rework needs.
• Contribute technical knowledge on the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of large-scale power systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, and controls.
• Collaborate with project management to provide progress updates, flag potential delays, and assist in planning.
• Train and develop journeymen and apprentices, modeling safety-first and precision-driven workmanship.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites that support efficient work and reinforce safety culture.
• Support accurate tracking of labor hours, materials, and productivity through documentation and reporting tools.
• Coordinate with other trades to align work scopes and avoid conflicts during overlapping activities.
