Job Details
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with standard costing systems
- Develop and maintain a robust system of accounting policies, processes, and procedures
- Manage outsourced functions such as audit, tax, and IT services
- Lead and oversee the operations of the accounting department
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of bank reconciliations and financial reporting
- Prepare and issue comprehensive financial statements and corporate annual reports
- Evaluate performance metrics and provide financial analyses for strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with external audit requirements and government reporting regulations
