Growing Chicago based firm looking to add a talented Electrical Project Engineer to their team!
Responsibilities :
- Projects include the study / design of roadway and site lighting, traffic signals for State / municipal clients and ITS improvements for public agencies
- Design pump station electrical systems, generator sizing and site electrical improvements
- Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates and preliminary studies
- Supervise / mentor other staff on larger projects
- Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- Review and check engineering work completed by staff
- Build / maintain client relationships
- Mentor / train junior staff
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- PE License or ability to obtain in two years
- Proficient in MicroStation
- Experience with IDOT / Illinois Tollway projects preferred
- CDOT / INDOT experience preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
