Associate Engineer

A company is looking for an Associate Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Assist network project management with technical and logistical requirements

Identify and resolve network problems related to hardware refresh and performance issues

Collaborate with team members to create documentation for projects and processes

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience with Layer 2 Switching protocols

1 to 2 years of experience in network engineering with a basic understanding of networking fundamentals

Understanding of VLANs, NAT devices, DHCP servers, OSI model, and TCP / IP model

Ability to configure and troubleshoot routing / switching technologies in an enterprise environment

Some experience with Linux OS / Networking and various networking vendors
