Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will manage the scheduling and communication logistics for providers serving two major hospitals and one external facility . Your primary goal is to maintain full provider schedules while delivering exceptional patient service.
- Provider Schedule Management : Proactively manage complex provider calendars, ensuring schedules are full at all times to maximize patient access and clinic efficiency.
- High-Volume Communication : Handle a continuous flow of incoming and outbound patient calls , demonstrating impeccable phone etiquette and professional customer service.
- Simultaneous Tasking : Efficiently perform multiple tasks, such as sending confirmation letters or updating patient records while simultaneously speaking with patients on the phone.
- Administrative Preparation : Prepare necessary documentation, including patient confirmation emails and pre-appointment letters.
- Clinical Liaison : Serve as the crucial link to the nursing team by accurately receiving patient messages and ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate nurse.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience : 12 years of prior work experience in an office setting or fast-paced customer service role (e.g., retail, hospitality, or corporate environment).Communication : Excellent telephone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills.
