Job Title : Captive Insurance Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Captive Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of captive insurance structures and proven experience in managing captive accounts. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their captives are effectively managed and compliant with all regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of assigned captive insurance clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

Coordinate and oversee captive insurance activities, including financial reporting, regulatory filings, and board meetings.

Serve as the main liaison between clients, regulators, auditors, actuaries, and other service providers.

Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports in collaboration with accounting teams.

Support clients in strategic decision-making related to their captive structure, coverage, and program optimization.

Maintain compliance with applicable insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to client retention and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in captive insurance management

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management , or related field preferred.

Strong understanding of captive insurance structures, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting.

Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting or insurance management systems a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with multiple captive domiciles and regulatory bodies.

Knowledge of reinsurance concepts and risk financing structures.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
