What We Do
First American Trust’s product teams are shaping the future of data-driven banking solutions for the real estate industry. We’re seeking an energetic and strategic Senior Product Manager focused on Data Strategy to define and execute the roadmap for our enterprise data platforms, governance models, and analytics capabilities. You’ll work across business, product, and engineering teams to enable smarter decision-making, data consistency, and trusted insights throughout the organization. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in ambiguity, translates complex data needs into scalable solutions, and uses data as a competitive advantage.
What You’ll Do
Set the vision for data as a product — define how First American Trust collects, manages, and activates data to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Develop and maintain the data strategy roadmap — including data governance, data architecture, master data management, analytics enablement, and data quality.
Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand data needs, align on shared goals, and deliver high-value data capabilities.
Define and prioritize data requirements and use cases — ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and compliance standards (privacy, security, regulatory).
Champion data governance practices by helping define data ownership models, metadata management, and stewardship processes.
Deliver self-service data tools and dashboards that empower business stakeholders.
Leverage insights to drive strategic decisions — ensuring product and business teams have access to reliable, actionable data.
Work with engineering and delivery teams to deliver new data pipelines, APIs, and integrations that support product capabilities and reporting.
Define success metrics and KPIs for data initiatives, tracking progress on data availability, quality, adoption, and impact.
Ensure compliance and trust by embedding security, privacy, and data ethics into all data initiatives.
Support change management and adoption , helping teams leverage new data products and insights effectively.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
5–7 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on data platforms, analytics, or data strategy.
Proven ability to define and deliver data-centric products or platforms — data lakes, warehouses, governance tools, or APIs.
Experience translating business goals into data strategies, aligning technology and process to drive measurable outcomes.
Familiarity with modern data architectures and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS / GCP / Azure data stacks, Airflow, dbt).
Understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, GLBA).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex systems, data flows, and dependencies.
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams with clarity and influence.
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and deliver high-impact solutions in an agile environment.
Passion for building data-driven cultures and enabling teams to make better decisions through trustworthy, accessible data.
Experience working in or with financial services, banking, or real estate data is highly desirable.
Pay Range : $126,100 - $168,125 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
