Job Description
Confidential search for Machine Operators to support wire / cable extrusion and related manufacturing for aerospace / defense applications. You’ll set up and run production equipment, perform in-process checks, and keep accurate records to meet quality, safety, and throughput targets.
Key Responsibilities
Set up machines (calibration / cleaning) and start production cycles
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temps) and feed raw materials
Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers); perform periodic test runs
Troubleshoot minor issues, make routine adjustments, and escalate when needed
Verify output quality; log good / defective units and maintain activity records
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE; maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
1+ year machine operation experience in manufacturing
Working knowledge of high-speed production machinery & measurement tools
Ability to read / understand work instructions in English (for safety and quality documentation)
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and reliable attendance
Physical ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
Required : VantageClear Certification (or equivalent recognized defense / compliance credential)
