Our client has an immediate leadership position opening. They are an employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm specializing in : WATER (watersheds + water resources), ECOLOGY (ecosystems + natural resources), and COMMUNITY (civil engineering, landscape architecture + planning).

Brief Description :

They have multiple career-making, legacy projects in-hand ready for your leadership and involvement. Projects include premier park development, green infrastructure, ecosystem restoration, renewable energy, water resources, and redevelopment. The ideal candidate can lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, translate environmental passion into creative and innovative design, and has a solid civil engineering foundation.

The candidate must thrive in a small company environment, requiring a well-rounded skill set, the ability to balance time-sensitive tasks for multiple clients, and a desire to explore new and innovative designs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities :

Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships

Identify and actively pursue project opportunities resulting in secured work

Effectively manage multi-discipline project teams

Supervise and mentor staff in a collaborative, respectful way

Contribute to strategic growth planning, including short- and long-term goals

Education / Experience Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in civil or related engineering

Minimum of 4 years of experience with an emphasis on parks, green infrastructure, and / or redevelopment projects

Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to become licensed within 6 months of hire

Strong writing, communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Proven ability to manage projects using AutoCAD / Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional day trips
