New Horizons, a nonprofit serving special needs adults in the San Fernando Valley for more than 60 years, seeks a self-starter to be a Direct Support Professional - Caregiver.
This will be a very rewarding experience for reliable people who have a passion to help others.
A perfect part-time or second job!
No experience necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Rate : $18.50 - $19.25
SUMMARY : Assist residents to succeed in a residential and independent homes by teaching them personal living skills and joining them in recreational activities.
We are particularly looking for the open shifts below :
- Schedule 1 : Friday - Sunday : 3 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm
- Schedule 2 : Saturday - Sunday : 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm or 3 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm
- Schedule 3 : ( Floater) Monday - Sunday : 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm or Overnight

Requirements
- Must speak English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with special needs / developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Driver's License for 3+ years required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to drive an 8-passanger van.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
