Job description???? Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday, 3 : 00p.m. - 11 : 30p.m. ???? Address : 454 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070 ???? Pay : $34.00 - $46.00 / hour – based on experience Perform diagnosis and repairs of most vehicle components without supervision Complete major component repairs and / or overhauls Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspections Perform electrical and / or air conditioning system repairs Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or requested by the customer; track warranty parts back to the dealership Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order, including required information for warranty claims Road test vehicles or refer to a test technician as required Assist other technicians in major repairs Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and keep abreast of technical bulletins Inspect and test newly delivered vehicles, install optional equipment, and report defects Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals Work in a team environment and maintain a professional appearance Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace Vocational / technical school graduate preferred; five years related experience required Experience in engine and driveline troubleshooting; electrical repair; air conditioning systems; and component overhauls Ability to meet or exceed productivity and efficiency standards Must have a good supply of hand tools to complete most repairs Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards) CDL Class B or above preferred (must meet company insurability standards) State Vehicle Inspector Certification (Class 7) required Regular walking and standing Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Regular lifting / moving up to 50 lbs; frequently lift / move over 100 lbs
