Responsibilities Level 3 trauma regional hospital setting Dual modality position involving both CT and routine X-ray exams Patient population includes adults and preferred but not required peds cases Procedures include head, chest, extremities, and C-Arm imaging; experience working in the OR may be required Utilizes Siemens CT / DI equipment and GE C-Arm, with preferred knowledge of Siemens Drive 256 slice and dual source / dual energy CT Scanner Epic EMR is used for charting Unit requires flexibility in scheduling : day shifts (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 0700-1630); nights 7 on / 7 off (Wed-Tue); alternating shifts as contract progresses Weekend shifts required as per FTE request On-call is required every fifth or sixth weekend, staffing dependent No floating to other units or facilities Candidate must be comfortable working independently as a multi-modality CT registered technologist First-time travelers are accepted for this role Pediatric imaging experience is preferred but not required RTO (time off) is limited to 10 days max per 13-week contract and is not allowed during designated blackout periods No block scheduling is permitted Orientation modules must be completed pre-start and are included in onboarding Candidates will not be considered if they have worked for or applied to the client’s internal staff or travel positions in the last two years Local candidates are accepted with a different bill rate if within 75 miles radius Requirements Minimum of 2 years combined recent experience—1 year each in CT and X-ray Current ARRT RT(R) and RT(CT), and AHA BLS certifications required Competency in CT, X-ray, and C-Arm procedures covering head, chest, and extremities per skills checklist Strongly encouraged Siemens scanner experience and preferred CCTA experience License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629029.
