Industrial Overhead Crane Specialist
It’s what’s inside that counts—yours, ours, and the steel we move.
A day in the life
You arrive for your rotating shift ready to move heavy material safely and precisely. Before the first lift, you complete and file your equipment inspection report, verify startup procedures, and coordinate with teammates on production priorities. On the floor, you operate an overhead crane and forklift to stage, load, and transport materials—monitoring conditions, communicating any issues, and keeping your area clean. Throughout the shift, you troubleshoot minor equipment concerns, uphold CMC’s Safety Culture, and follow shutdown and emergency procedures to the letter.
