Job Summary
A manufacturing company is seeking a Service Manager to maintain customer relationships and direct field maintenance and service processes for hydrogen fuel cell systems. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in customer-facing roles, capable of working independently and leading a service team.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-class customer service and product information to key users
- Deliver prompt and professional solutions for customer inquiries
- Represent customer opinions and suggestions to the company
- Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure proper support parameters
- Hire, train, and manage customer service staff
- Set reportable metrics to measure service department performance
- Suggest and implement improvements to customer service processes
Key Qualifications
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role in distribution or manufacturing industryDemonstrated ability to work solo and lead a service teamExcellent communication and leadership skillsWorking knowledge of Windows applications and inventory management systemsAccuracy in handling detailed information / dataAbility to travel to customer sites periodicallyPreferred Skills
