Job Title : Project Engineer – Electrical
Location : Anchorage, AK (JBER)
Pay Range : $120,000 – $135,000 per year (salary will be discussed based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering services on multiple simultaneous federal projects ranging in value from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value.
- Offer technical and administrative support for large federal building design, medical building design, or other complex construction projects (definition of “Large” is a construction value of at least $100 million).
- Conduct site observation and reporting for assigned projects to government personnel.
- Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Analyze design and construction issues concerning contract requirements and deliver recommendations for compliance.
- Review and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, change orders, and claims.
- Prepare daily field surveillance reports covering all pertinent factors affecting cost and engineering considerations.
- Participate in pre‑construction conferences with government personnel.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with industrial / laboratory building electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), system controls, building automation, data centers, and other complex electrical‑engineering elements in large buildings and utility plants.
- Prior experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects is a plus.
Requirements
U.S. Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen.Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 10 years of engineering and construction contract administration experience.Experience on projects with government clients is preferred.Experience with large “campus”‑type projects is preferred.Preferable experience using RMS 3.0.Benefits
