Operations Specialist (Hicksville)

Position : Operations Specialist

Location : Hicksville, NY (Fully Onsite)

Contract Duration : 6 Months

Start Date : ASAP

Pay Rate : Negotiable $30-33 / hr

Schedule : MondayFriday, 9 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

No overtime or weekend work required

Join a reputable and well-respected financial institution as a Loan & Lease Servicing Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for operational excellence in financial services. Youll be responsible for managing the lifecycle of leases and loansfrom origination through final paymentwith a strong focus on servicing and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service (25%)
• Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and mail, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
• Payment Processing (25%)
• Post various forms of payments (check, wire, ACH, internal transfer) to the sub-ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper account allocation.
• Cash Reconciliation (20%)
• Support the funding department with daily reconciliation of cash disbursements. Investigate discrepancies and validate totals.
• Billing Support (20%)
• Assist with the Financial Public Funding billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Administrative Tasks (10%)
• Perform general administrative duties to support the servicing team.
