Accounts Payable Manager
We are seeking a people-centered and results-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and vendor satisfaction. The AP team currently operates in a remote work environment and is supported by an offshore outsourced team, requiring strong coordination, communication, and relationship management across time zones and cultures. Lead and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice processing, payment runs, 1099 filings and close activities.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Leverage technology systems and automation tools to optimize processes, reduce manual work, and improve data accuracy.
Use data and insights to set strategic direction, identify trends, and drive process improvements.
Maintain alignment between team goals and the broader Co-op, division and department priorities.
Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Merchandise Teams, Treasury, and Accounting to optimize processes and resolve issues.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring a customer-focused approach.
Manage relationships and workflows with offshore outsourcing partners to ensure seamless integration and service delivery.
Communicate effectively to influence others, provide clear direction, and inspire action across all levels of the organization.
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies by actively participating in professional networks, industry groups, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or related finance functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of AP systems, ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) with a demonstrated ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency, innovation, and process improvements.
Proven ability to deliver results in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams, coach talent, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of business operations and financial impacts.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
