About the Role
We're seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and execute TRULEO's marketing strategyowning everything from paid media and brand storytelling to website optimization, trade show management, and digital content creation.
This role is ideal for a hands-on marketing leader who can balance strategy with execution. You'll manage TRULEO's paid advertising, website, events, and digital marketing initiatives while working closely with Sales and Operations to ensure marketing drives measurable pipeline growth.
You'll collaborate with TRULEO's CEO, Director of Operations, Sales team, and Digital Marketing Specialist (focused on organic social and community engagement) to build scalable campaigns, launch content, and expand TRULEO's visibility in law enforcement, public safety, and technology markets.
What You'll Do
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute TRULEO's comprehensive marketing strategy across digital, brand, communications, and events.
- Align marketing initiatives with company goals, sales targets, and product roadmap priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and marketing efficiency.
- Own TRULEO's brand identity and voiceensuring consistency across all digital platforms, collateral, and communications.
Digital, Paid Media & Demand Generation
Manage paid social and digital advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook / Instagram), LinkedIn, Google Ads, X, YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok.Generate and nurture Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through digital campaigns, lead magnets, and HubSpot workflows.Create, design, and deploy high-impact ad creatives and campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.Oversee website updates, SEO performance, and landing page optimization for conversion and lead generation.Utilize HubSpot for campaign automation, CRM integration, lead scoring, and email marketing performance tracking.Content, Design & Communications
Develop and execute a content calendar across web, social, and digital channels in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Specialist.Own TRULEO's email marketing strategyincluding newsletters, nurture campaigns, and automated sequences within HubSpot.Write and manage press releases, blogs, and announcements highlighting company news, product updates, and customer success.Create or oversee marketing collateral including sales decks, product one-pagers, videos, graphics, and digital assets.Partner closely with the Sales team to develop collateral and campaigns that directly support pipeline growth.Design visuals, graphics, and short-form videos using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other creative tools.Events & Trade Shows
Own TRULEO's trade show and conference strategyincluding event selection, logistics, creative assets, booth management, and lead follow-up.Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure seamless execution and measurable ROI from all events.Track and manage budgets and timelines for event marketing activities.Analytics & Optimization
Track and report on key marketing KPIs, including ad performance, MQL volume, website traffic, and campaign ROI.Leverage analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Metabase, and HubSpot dashboards to measure and refine performance.Continuously test, optimize, and refine campaigns to maximize efficiency and impact.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Product to ensure marketing supports revenue goals, customer acquisition, and retention.Collaborate on product launches, trade shows, and strategic company communications.Partner with leadership to communicate marketing results, insights, and recommendations regularly.Who You Are
5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 23 years in a management or leadership role.Proven experience managing paid media, SEO, email marketing, trade shows, and digital ad strategy in a B2B or SaaS environment.Prior experience in the public safety, law enforcement, or government technology sector strongly preferred.Familiarity with marketing AI-driven or mission-critical technologies for law enforcement is a major plus.Hands-on expertise in HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Metabase, Slack, and major social platforms, including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok.Strong project management skills with the ability to "pick up a shovel" and execute quickly and effectively.Excellent design sense and creative storytelling ability, with experience in both content creation and campaign execution.Analytical and data-driven mindsetable to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable strategies.Exceptional communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced startup culture.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.Experience in early-stage, high-growth, or technology-focused organizations strongly preferred.Why Join TRULEO
