About the Role :
XTIUM is currently seeking a Deskside Support Engineer to join our Team in enhancing and maintaining our customer environments. The chosen candidate will represent XTIUM at a high-visibility professional services client. This position will have the support of the XTIUM engineering team as he / she implements and supports recommended solutions for various clients and internal support.
Job Responsibilities :
- On-site and in-office desktop and engineering support.
- Install, support, and maintain end-user systems for client
- Ensure client environment is operational and available on an as needed basis in coordination with a remote team.
- Provide support and troubleshoot customer desktop issues.
- Document client systems, configurations, and operational instructions.
- Work closely with XTIUM Remote Infrastructure Management Team and Service Delivery Manager to resolve locally escalated tickets.
- Develop an understanding of client environment to facilitate support / ensure reliability
- Identify areas of improvement
- Work with XTIUM engineering team during new initiatives and projects
Job Qualifications :
A minimum of 1-5 years of related experience.Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experienceMust be able to support and manage a Microsoft Office 365 Solution and related peripheral applications, including Active Directory and Exchange ServerWindows 11 / 10 experience a mustMac workstation support experience preferredWindows 2012 / 2016 experience is a mustExperience with Exchange OnlineSharePoint Configuration and Administration - Nice to have (big plus) but not mandatoryKnowledge in LAN's, WAN's, and basic networkingStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter with a passion for technology and enabling other people to be successfulTeam player, flexible and a collaborative personality, and ability to work independentlyGood time management skillsAbility to interact effectively and professionally w / Executives and support personnel alikeStrong Customer Service skills with a passion for client satisfaction an absolute mustXTIUM is an equal opportunity employer.
