Job Overview

The Occupational Therapist I provide occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment, follow up and documentation using general competencies for inpatients and / or outpatients referred to the OT department. Provides supervision for therapy aides / assistants and students with specific patients or tasks as appropriate. Provides continuous consultation and education to families. The Occupational Therapist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP).

Job Status : PRN - As Needed; not eligible for benefits

Shift : 2 weekend shifts per month and as needed during the week to support PTO requests and high census

Qualifications

• EDUCATION -Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field of study.

EXPERIENCE - Inpatient experience strongly preferred. Pediatric and feeding experience beneficial.

CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR

LICENSURE - Colorado State Registration for Occupational Therapy - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment.

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Hourly Range : $37.82 to $56.73
