We are accepting resumes for an Industrial Engineer internship at our Southern Pines, NC facility. The facility is a former factory that now functions as a returns center, a repair / refurbishment center, a parts distribution center and a customer contact center. We aim to hire rising seniors to work full time during the summer. This summer internship will have the possibility to continue into the school year part-time, if mutually agreeable. We are looking for candidates who have completed three years of an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree program, preferably with a major in Industrial Engineering; however, we may consider other engineering majors who have relevant coursework and / or work experience.

Our Industrial Engineer intern will work with, and be mentored by, local management. Responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to the following activities :

• Perform time-motion studies
• Optimize production line and work cell balance for product refurbishment
• Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures
• Provide support in quality control, quality assurance inspection and testing efforts
• Prepare / automate reports and dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
• Data analysis
• Written and oral presentations to corporate management
