As a Security Professional - Unarmed Retail Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This position is a driving post, requiring you to conduct routine patrols across the premises. You will play a key role in supporting our caring culture and values by acting with integrity, delivering through teamwork, and being a reliable resource for the location you serve.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Report and document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal's guidelines and location policy.

Assist with access control and help guide visitors and employees as needed.

Remain alert to security-related hazards and communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervision and / or local authorities as required.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
