A Typical Day :

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you'll empower clients to make informed decisions regarding their finances while nurturing strong, lasting relationships. Your role will involve serving clients with varied tax needs, supported by a dedicated team and comprehensive tax training.

What You'll Bring to the Team :

• Conduct in-depth tax interviews with clients via various platforms : face-to-face, video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for clients.
• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and present additional products and services.
• Offer IRS support to clients.
• Provide tax notice services at all certification levels.
• Circular 230 associates can represent clients during audits.
• Mentor and provide support to teammates.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Possess experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Demonstrate expertise in preparing individual returns.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using virtual tools like video, phone, and chat.
• Effectively communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
