About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Installation to oversee and lead the execution of commercial kitchen equipment installation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of installation technicians, coordinating project schedules, and ensuring that all installations are carried out efficiently and up to the highest standards. The role involves a primary work schedule of Monday to Friday, with the flexibility for overtime, out-of-town travel, and weekend work as required. The Head of Installation will be expected to mentor and train team members, collaborate with sales and project support teams, and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the willingness to obtain necessary industry certifications are also required.
This role requires a professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial kitchen equipment installation or a comparable industry, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. The Head of Installation will also be involved in on-site assessments, troubleshooting installation issues, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Applicants for the Head of Installation position at the company must have a proven track record in a similar role, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and proficiency in using hand and power tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work with both Union and Non-Union installers.
