Job Description :
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) has a requirement for technical and engineering support in the systems engineering, integration, maintenance, documentation, and development and operation of training simulations. SimIS seeks a Supply Coordinator to provide comprehensive logistics and supply chain management support for the SCSTC / ATRC domain. This position manages inventory, procurement, and asset tracking for complex military training systems and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and cost-effective resource utilization.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or military logistics
- Experience with military supply systems and procedures
- Knowledge of government procurement regulations and procedures
- Preferred : Military supply training, logistics certifications, or relevant civilian credentials
- Travel required : 25%
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in inventory management systems and databasesUnderstanding of military parts identification and cataloging systemsExperience with DD Forms (DD-1149, etc.) and military supply documentationKnowledge of DRMO (Defense Reutilization Management Office) proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database managementStrong organizational and analytical skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in record keepingExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesUnderstanding of budget management and cost control principlesKey Responsibilities
Maintain and update SCSTC / ATRC N4 inventory database for all equipment and partsTrack and process all supply requests, issued parts, and equipment transfersCoordinate with DRMO for equipment turn-ins and disposal proceduresManage departmental budget expenditures database and financial trackingServe as liaison between Tactical Maintenance Division and Supply DivisionProcess and track Configuration Change Worksheet (CCW) packagesMaintain accurate records of remain-in-place parts and equipment statusCoordinate procurement activities and vendor relationshipsEnsure compliance with government supply regulations and proceduresPrepare supply reports and budget analyses as requiredBenefits :
