We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates for Full Time Hosts at a busy high end Chinatown restaurant.

Tuxedo Hospitality is a New York City based hospitality group. The group currently features Chinese Tuxedo, Opera House, The Tyger and South SoHo Bar in its portfolio with more venues to come! In 2016, Tuxedo Hospitality started with the opening of Chinese Tuxedo in the heart of Chinatown. We are in need of strong team members to join in continuing our growth. We value promoting from within and creating opportunities for our team members to grow based on their strengths.
Chinese Tuxedo is an award-winning contemporary Chinese restaurant located within a 19th Century opera house on Manhattan’s Chinatown historic Doyers St. Having opened in 2016 to packed dining rooms and critical acclaim, we have continued to grow exponentially each year.

Role & responsibilities:
- Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door
- Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
- Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
- Seat guests on allocated tables and provide menus
- Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
- Learn food and beverage menu
- Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff
- Answer phones and emails and help schedule reservations
- Flexible schedule, particularly Sunday through Wednesday
