SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Maintenance Technician works with all elements involved in maintaining the facility and equipment. This involves overseeing the health of all CNC machines and participating in TPM events. Provide detailed reports on all work orders, tracking and recording daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly and yearly inspections, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep.

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot systems and equipment such as Air systems, CNC machines, Manual machines, hand tools, material handling equipment and facility per documented schedule.
• Responsible for daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly and yearly inspections for facility.
• Troubleshoot Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems as pertains to Machinery and Facilities.
• Performs office furniture, window, door, and hardware repairs.
• Performs general repairs and maintenance work in facility.
• Complete regular maintenance of outdoor areas, including landscaping tasks and snow removal of critical areas to ensure safety and accessibility.
• Provide proper record-keeping of repairs, maintenance tasks, and any inspections.
• Research and communicate with machine manufacturers for troubleshooting or technical support.
• Ensure compliance with 6S System.
• Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.

May be required to travel to other site locations during the workday and would primarily be local during the business day. However, some projects may require overnight stays as well as out-of-the-area travel paid for by the business.
