W hat you’ll do as an Event Marketing Manager
- Develop and recommend the event marketing plans, objectives, and budget and manage within those approved plans
- Collaborate with the revenue marketing team on goals and messaging
- Manage events as a campaign rather than a single event - set a communication plan, design plan, key messages and strategies
- Manage event logistics including tradeshow services, shipping, staffing, and serve as primary onsite contact
- Manage exhibit booth property and exhibit house
- Track, analyze and report event ROI including leads, CPL (cost per lead), CPA (cost per acquisition) and brand metrics
- Lead the event management of trade shows and conferences including hotel block management, event registration, event promotion, staff communications, and end-to-end execution
What you’ll bring to the Event Marketing Manager role :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, similar field or equivalent is preferred
- 5+ years of proven experience managing complex events; both in-person and virtual
- Experience working with teams that are dispersed geographically
- Experience managing budgets and contracts
- Expert at keeping projects on time with reliable deliverability
