Role Overview
The Director of Data, BI & AI will be responsible for defining and executing Daniels Health’s enterprise data and analytics strategy. This leader will oversee our data governance framework, business intelligence platforms, and the integration of AI / ML technologies that improve operational performance, automate processes, and uncover new insights. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and analysts – empowering every function at Daniels to make faster, evidence-based decisions. Your work will directly influence our ability to serve healthcare partners with excellence, efficiency, and innovation.
What you will do
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a global, Data, BI & AI strategy aligned with Daniels Health’s business goals and operational priorities
- Partner with executive to define and track strategic KPI’s, providing visibility into performance across commercial, operational, and clinical functions
- Establish and lead a Data Governance Council, promoting data integrity, compliance, and transparency across regions
Data & BI Excellence
Oversee design and deployment of enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) to deliver accurate and accessible reporting for all business unitsLead modernization of data infrastructure and cloud-based analytics environments (e.g., Azure)Partner with IT and business stakeholders to unify data sources and automate data pipelines for scalability and accuracyArtificial Intelligence & Automation
Identify and lead AI and machine learning initiatives that optimize logistics, forecasting, pricing, and asset utilizationPartner with operations and commercial teams to implement AI‑powered automation, such as route optimization, predictive maintenance, and intelligent reportingEstablish Daniels Health’s AI governance framework to ensure ethical, responsible, and secure use of artificial intelligenceDrive exploration of emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, computer vision, NLP) to enhance business and customer outcomesTeam & Culture
Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing data and analytics team with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementFoster a culture of curiosity and experimentation – encouraging teams to explore how data and AI can solve real business challengesCollaborate cross‑functionally to translate complex data concepts into clear business impact storiesSkills & Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or enterprise data management5+ years of leadership experience building and scaling high‑performing data and BI teamsDemonstrated success implementing AI, machine learning, or automation initiatives in an enterprise environmentDeep understanding of modern data stacks (ETL, cloud data warehouses, APIs) and BI toolsExperience with Databricks (e.g., Delta Lake, Apache Spark, MI flow, or SQL Analytics) in a data lakehouse environmentProficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data governance best practicesStrong business acumen with the ability to bridge data strategy and operational executionExperience in healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, or service industries preferred$151,129 - $225,147 a year
The pay range for this position is $151,129 to $225,147 total package. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
