Class A CDL Driver Field Service Technician (OWS & Grit Specialist) Location : Kansas City, KC Shift : MondayFriday | 5-6 AM start | 12-hour shifts | 1 Saturday / month Pay : Starting at $32 / hr + OT | Weekly Pay Job Type : Full-Time | This is BOTH an OTR and Local Route | Satellite Operation

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a CLASS A CDL Driver to join our team as our Over the Road (OTR) Oil / Water Separator (OWS) Tanker Driver.

WEEKLY pay with lots of available Overtime 12+hour shift Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays

Early Start time 6 AM -until end of Route

  • Full Time Over the Road

This opportunity requires 2-3 days of OTR travel per week.

MUST BE WILLING to work SUNDAYS as needed, based on business needs.

Advance Your CDL Career in Environmental Field Service Work Liquid Environmental Solutions (LES) is seeking a Class A CDL Driver with manual transmission experience to serve as a Field Service Technician OWS & Grit Specialist for our Charlotte, NC - Fayetteville, NC route. You'll work hands-on in the field operating vacuum trucks to clean oil / water separators, grit traps, and grease interceptors for commercial and industrial clients. This position offers consistent local work, career development, and meaningful service in a growing industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate vacuum trucks to clean oil / water separators (OWS), grit traps, and grease traps
  • Pull and manage heavy vacuum hoses (50+ lbs) over long distances and uneven terrain
  • Perform sludge judge readings and complete detailed inspections at each service site
  • Provide line jetting services for grease and OWS system maintenance
  • Ensure all materials collected are non-hazardous and handled per company protocol
  • Complete daily pre- and post-trip DVIR inspections using electronic systems
  • Log all services, inspections, and notes accurately via tablet-based software
  • Provide professional customer service, communicating any system issues or findings
  • Work safely in confined spaces, slippery surfaces, and areas with hydrocarbon exposure
  • Participate in emergency service response and on-call rotation when needed
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Manual transmission (10-speed) experience required
  • At least one (1) year of commercial driving (military equivalent accepted)
  • Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse before hire
  • DOT medical certification required (must be medically qualified)
  • Previous vacuum truck, grease trap, or septic service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environments
  • Comfortable with unpleasant odors and dirty fieldwork
  • Ideal Candidate :

  • Physically strong, with stamina and excellent coordination
  • Mechanically inclinedable to troubleshoot minor issues in the field
  • Comfortable in wet pits, sediment-filled traps, and variable outdoor conditions
  • Highly organized and attentive to service documentation and compliance
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
  • Working Conditions :

  • Mix of driving and on-site physical service work
  • Exposure to industrial areas, weather extremes, slippery surfaces, and traffic
  • Requires early mornings, some late evenings, and occasional weekends / on-call
