About The Role & Team

As a Senior Staff GRC Engineer you will report to the CISO and operate as our Governance Risk & Compliance leader. You will be hands-on and highly influential executing on GRC goals while enabling GTM and supporting deals. Youll design and drive governance efforts across the company and mature risk management end-to-end. By balancing strategic governance with time-sensitive deal work you will elevate Amplitudes security posture and sales velocity simultaneously. Your engineering skills and experience will enable you to automate and codify GRC solutions in a highly technical environment. As our program scales youll help cultivate a culture of security by advocating and mentoring across the company.

As a Senior Staff GRC Engineer you will :

• Design and build lean effective governance both for traditional security and compliance needs as well as a rapidly evolving landscape of AI risks
• Lead enterprise risk management evolving our approach elevating the right risks to the right levels of management and stewarding the company to continually drive risk down
• Own customer deal support end-to-end triaging requests coordinating SMEs aligning content with Security and Legal satisfying questionnaires and audits and continuously shortening our cycle time
• Drive third-party risk management perform due diligence collaborate with vendors to perform assessments provide risk-based recommendations and approvals
• Support our certification and attestation goals aligning on control design and implementation with Engineering Security IT Legal and HR
• Apply engineering skills and experience to automate GRC controls and risk telemetry continually reduce manual labor increase governance efficacy and achieve continuous compliance
• Maintain customer-facing trust collateral and the Trust Center

Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range : $255000 - $384000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range : $229000 - $344000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range : $229000 - $344000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only : unlimited PTO 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary) medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
