Onboarding Coordinator
The Onboarding Coordinator executes and coordinates all recruiting, on-boarding, and orientation for the agency. Individual must maintain confidentiality of all subject matter as appropriate. Position responsibilities include :
- Drafts, edits, and announces external job postings / advertisements.
- Attends job fairs to maintain representation in the community and obtain talent.
- Identifies alternate sources for external posting exposure and initiates relationship.
- Conducts agency required pre-employment screenings.
- Ensures applicant / new employee compliance with position required records, trainings, licenses, and credentialing information.
- Coordinates intern and volunteer initiation and compliance.
- Affirmative action maintenance / compliance.
- Prepares and conducts new employee orientation, including making suggestions for improvement.
- Assists in benefits administration.
- Participates in entering all newly hired employees into the HR database.
- Initiates follow-up and maintains paperwork related to initial departmental training for compliance.
- Responsible for compiling statistical information related to recruiting and retention.
- Conducts trainings to educate and reinforce processes related to the screening and hiring process.
- Assists in maintaining agency HR policies and procedures, job summaries, and job competencies.
- Initiates notice and documentation required for new employee initial performance review process.
- Responsible for scanning and indexing documentation for various HR files to be maintained in database.
- HR database maintenance.
- Provides follow-up on all outstanding documentation to ensure that information for Personnel Files is received timely, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Follow-up and transmission of required information / paperwork to Payroll Company.
- Conduct audits, at least quarterly, to ensure department compliance and consistency.
- Assists in maintaining, educating, and applying agency HR policies.
- Assists employees with HR related requests.
- Assists Vice President of Human Resources as needed.
Hours : Monday Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m., some evenings
