About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in ICU nursing

License : Active Registered Nurse license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Epic experience required
• Previous charge experience of 1.5 years preferred

Description :

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in an intensive care setting.

The nurse will manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure.

Responsibilities include arterial line management and central line care.

The nurse will administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.

Assist in the management of BiPAP and CPAP.

Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).

Suctioning procedures for endotracheal and nasotracheal tubes are required.

Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.

The nurse will participate in interdisciplinary support and patient care activities.
