The basics of this position:

*** This is an onsite position located in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Candidates should apply only if they are able to be physically present and available to work onsite by the start date***
Saint Louis Community College is seeking qualified candidates to teach an in-person Biomedical Equipment course in Fall 2025. This position will be at the Florissant Valley campus.

What you'll do:

• Instructors will be responsible for the delivery of instruction for all assigned classes, evaluation and assignment of grades to his/her students, and to maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy and submit requested information within established timelines. Instructors will be required to meet all scheduled classes; use technology such as Blackboard, PowerPoint, etc. as appropriate. Instructors will instruct lab work for their classes.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in Biomedical Electronics or equipment repair, Engineering, or Engineering Technology degree or similar
• 3 years experience in the Biomedical equipment repair field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biomedical Electronics or equipment repair, Engineering, or Engineering Technology degree or similar
• Teaching experience at a community college
• Experience with a Learning Management System (Canvas preferred)
