Raytheon's Receiver, Exciter, and Back-End Processing (REBEP) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products. We have an opportunity for a Senior Principal RF Design Engineer who is seeking to utilize their academic background and professional experience in RF / Microwave system theory and design to help develop the next generation of Raytheon's Radar Receiver, Exciter, and Transmitter products.

What You Will Do :

• Architecture development, requirements analysis, hardware design, hands-on testing of components, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems.
• Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
• Design and optimization of RF circuits either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
• Working with interdisciplinary teams power, digital, mechanical, etc.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities.
• Cost and schedule management plus proposal writing.
• This 1st shift position will be 100% on-site and based in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.
