About The Role
As a Consulting Manager, Trade Promotion Management and Optimization (TPx) – Consulting , you will make an impact by leading strategic consulting engagements for Retail and Consumer Goods clients, driving trade promotion optimization initiatives, and delivering high-value solutions.
- Lead and manage TPx consulting projects for Retail / CPG clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, TPx software vendor landscape, and promotional effectiveness to identify opportunities to optimize trade spending ROI.
- Develop and implement Trade Promotion Optimization strategies, including data and AI technology, business process, and organizational strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on TPx matters.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
What You Need To Have To Be Considered
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).8+ years of experience in the CPG industry with hands-on experience as TPx user and / or TPx SaaS software implementation projects.Deep understanding of TPx closed loop process including trade budget setting, promotion and account planning, claims and settlement, and trade promotion ROI analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team of consultants.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.These will help you stand out
Experience supporting business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.Experience contributing to thought leadership materials, such as whitepapers, case studies, and industry presentations.Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the Retail / CPG sector.A hands-on leadership approach and commitment to building high-performing teams.Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
