With Notability Web, users on any web-capable platform can collaboratively author, capture, and import dynamic content in real-time, then learn, review, and master the content using our AI study tools. Notability has remained a top-seller in the App Store in the years since its debut, and is used by millions of passionate, active users.

We are seeking a software engineer to join us in building and evolving on the Notability web app. You'll be part of a team building value and delight for our users through rapid iteration, technical excellence, and dynamic communication.

Your responsibilities

• Write stable, readable, extensible, testable code
• Apply technical skill toward efficient & stable user experience
• Jump into unfamiliar areas to solve tough problems
• Operate with respect for the ideas, victories, mistakes, and time of your collaborators
• Take in feedback from mentors & peers and apply it toward continuous self-improvement
• Balance product & technology needs through active & open collaboration

Requirements

Nice To Have

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $120,000-$175,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This role follows a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days onsite at our downtown San Francisco office and flexibility to work remotely from home the rest of the week.
