This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar and related equipment and components in accordance with established procedures, safety standards, and company guidelines. You are ensuring all tasks meet company and manufacturer standards As a Senior Technician, You Will : Perform complex repairs with minimal supervision, taking full responsibility for quality and accuracy Serve as a proactive leader within the service department, setting a strong example for others. Mentor, train, and support technicians to strengthen overall team performance. Maintain and properly use all required tools and diagnostic equipment. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and components as needed. Work overtime as required based on workload or customer needs. Select proper tooling for each job and demonstrate proficiency with Caterpillar diagnostic tools. Perform diagnostics, develop accurate repair plans, and execute them efficiently. Complete all required training and stay current with Caterpillar product updates and technologies. Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools at all times. Assist fellow technicians with major repairs or component installations. Follow written and verbal instructions, company policies, and supervisor directives. Take responsibility for personal development and ongoing technical training. Travel to other company locations, customer sites, or Caterpillar facilities for work or training as needed. Work alternate shifts or in-field assignments as required by management. Required Education, Experience & Skills : One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school Minimum five plus years of CAT dealer experience and ten years of heavy equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
