Job descriptionSafely operating a equipment to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipment Experience with skid steer, mobile crane, excavator Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance You may be asked to operator the following heavy equipment : Crane, Shear, Loader During any down time, you may be required to perform general yard maintenance, assist the rail team, and perform cleaning around the yard / department circle checks of machinery Operator certification and / or experience is required Minimum of 1 years of experience operating in a heavy industrial setting Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling Comfortable using various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples Familiarity with metal recycling processes, materials, and specifications is advantageous Must be comfortable working outdoors and in a heavy industrial environment

Job Description
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, this position requires strong operation skills, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a crane while supporting the overall operations.
