Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Program from scratch, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with PLCs, Fanuc robots, and machine vision systems.
• Conduct time studies to optimize production efficiency.
• Utilize root cause analysis techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project handoffs and customer-facing communications.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the year.

Qualifications

Proven experience with Fanuc robots and Robo Guide.

Strong knowledge of industrial automation, vision, time studies, reach studies, simulation, and ordering components off the BOM.

Experience with CAD software, specifically Solidworks.

Familiarity with machine brands such as Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence, and Cognex.

Hands-on experience with the commissioning of systems on the customer floor.
